How to Configure LAN / Network Printer with MTA & EPOS

Setup LAN Printer with Full EPOS

  1. Insert Paper Roll and Turn on LAN Printer
  2. Connect the Wifi Router to LAN Printer using ETHERNET Cable
  3. Make sure to connect the LAN printer to the same wifi network as the EPOS
  4. Open terminal and connect to t2s server with clients VPN IP using ssh t2s@(ip adress) & enter the password 2success
  5. To identify IP of the LAN printer connected to the current network use the command sudo arp-scan -l this will display all device's IP address connected on the same network
  6. Search for the device names Seiko instruments
  7. Copy the IP Address from the left hand side of the identified device
  8. Go to admin panel using ./a
  9. Go to option number 8 Printer Configuration
  10. Select option 5.2 Install Seiko RP-D10 LAN
  11. Paste the copied IP address of the LAN printer in the input box and hit enter
  12. Place a test order and verify the prints
  13. For Printer Section settings on EPOS, go to Settings -> Printers -> Sections here you can dedicate the printers to specific sections of the menu as per client's requirements

Now your Network Printer is successfully configured with your EPOS


Setup LAN Printer with My Takeaway App / APOS / A920

  1. Insert Paper Roll and Turn on LAN Printer
  2. Connect the Wifi Router to LAN Printer using ETHERNET Cable
  3. Make sure to use the same Wifi Router Network to be connected to your Phone or APOS / A920
  4. On Your My Takeaway App (Phone / APOS / A920) Open My Takeaway App and click on the Hamburger icon on the top left corner then select settings
  5. Select Store Settings from the menu and click on Printer
  6. Select Network Printer from the options and click "OK" to allow your My Takeaway App to scan for Printers
  7. The available printers on your network will be displayed, now select your desired printer from the list (Seiko instruments)

Now your Network Printer is successfully configured with your My Takeaway App / APOS / A920
