How to Install Full EPOS System

How to Install Foodhub Full EPOS System

Contents of the Package

  • WonderPOS System 15inch
  • Comet Caller ID
  • Cable Bundle for WonderPOS
  • Telephone Extension (10mm)
  • Mains 4 Way Anti Surge Strip
  • Telephone Splitter - 3 way
  • LAN Cable 2M / 5M
  • Seiko RP-F10 USB printer

Step 1 - Setting up the EPOS

  1. Turn on the EPOS by plugging in the Power Adapter
  2. Ensure Green & Amber lights on both the LAN ports where the ethernet is connected
  3. Ethernet cable must be connected only next to the VGA port under the EPOS on the right hand side
  4. If in case of any network issues on the device or if it dispalys an error "Please contact customer service" Refer to Network Issues article on this link to troubleshoot the issue

Step 2 - Installing the Printer

  1. Turn on the Printer by plugging in the Power Adapter
  2. Connect the USB cable from printer to one of the four slots on the bottom of the EPOS
  3. Open terminal and connect to t2s server with clients VPN IP using ssh t2s@(ip adress) & enter the password 2success
  4. Enter the command ./a to go to the admin console
  5. Select option number 8 Configure Printer
  6. Select option number 1 Install Printer (Auto Detect) and hit enter
  7. If in case of any issues with the printer, Refer to Printer Issues article on this link to troubleshoot the issue

Step 3 - Installing the Caller ID

  1. Verify if the phone number is displayed on his telephone when someone calls in
  2. Check if it is a VOIP phone or an Internet phone or a Land Line phone as our Caller ID does not support VOIP / Internet Phone
  3. Swap the Printer USB cable with Caller ID cable to check if the cable is faulty if it works then the cable must be replaced
  4. Make sure the USB and telephone cables are connected firmly as shown in the Caller ID article

Final Checklist

  • Place a test order and ensure the order comes through the system
  • Once you click on the order ensure the receipts are printed clearly
  • Ensure the Menu is synced exactly as per the clients website
  • Ensure the Volume is increased to its maximum levels refer to the article Beep Sound to configure the volume settings
